An air-conditioned bus will take us to the luxurious Mena House Oberoi Hotel in Giza with a direct view onto the Great Pyramid from its garden oasis.

Relax, acclimate and meet your fellow travelers at our opening circle. Walk to the village for a welcome-dinner at local restaurant.

Day 3
We begin our path of initiation with a private morning ceremony between the paws of the Sphinx, the Guardian of the Mysteries. We will set our sacred intentions and receive an individualized download from the Sphinx to draw to us our those perfect places, people and opportunities on our journey.
Explore the Pyramids on the Giza Plateau and experience first-hand the only one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world still in existence. Nothing can prepare you for your first connection to this ancient ground.
Day 4

This day begins with a morning visit to the temple of Sakkara for the first rite of passage. This is a huge and very unique temple complex. As you enter into the temple facade you are funneled down a pathway of columns. Reach out your fingertips towards the columns and feel the energy coming from them. Sakkara is a temple of sound and crystal magic. Where the stellar energy grounds into earth and earth energy grounds into the sky. There are many special places to discover at Sakkara, such as the coiled cobras that are spectacularly detailed and the Step Pyramid. The ‘looking pools’ are small windows, that you can place your head in and think of someone who needs healing. Make a sound and receive information about what would help them and the origin of their imbalance. We will work in a private empowerment with the energies of the pyramid texts and symbology to awaken the understanding of the synchronicities and symbols in our lives.
Lunch and opportunities to shop at the Khan Khalili Bazaar. The atmospheres of this traditional market, together with the labyrinth layout of the streets, gives you a glimpse into what medieval markets once were like.
Afternoon visit of the
Cairo Museum. Our world-renowned egyptologist Emil Shaker, guides us through this famous museum with a collection of over 200,000 ancient Egyptian artifacts, dating back to 4,000 BC. Visiting the museum is an opportunity to see the statues and artifacts that originally were located in the temples. This paints a fuller picture when you go the temples, like seeing the original furniture designed for a house. You will experience first-hand the different periods of ancient Egypt and the individual artistic and architectural styles of each period. One of the highlights of this museum is the visit to the treasures of Tut-Ankh-Amun. There will be time to explore the museum on your own.
Evening flight to Aswan.

Day 5

In Aswan we check into our beautiful private sailing yacht, the Afandina.

In the afternoon we sail to the South end of Elephantine Island by taking a Felucca, which is a smallish sail boat operated by Nubians, the original people of Upper Egypt. The felucca ride is enchanted with celebrations of drumming and dancing with the Nubians. A beautiful botanical garden, filled with fragrant flowers and lush greenery, marks the entrance to the temple complex of Elephantine Island. This land is dedicated to the rams headed creator God Khnum and there is a chapel dedicated to him and his consort Satet. The temple is still partially intact and is built upon layers and layers and layers of temples below it. Each temple of the past is dismantled and another built upon it. Elephantine Island feels truly divine and magical and is also a wonderful place to see the layers of ancient Egypt unfold before you and feel her roots. In an empowerment meditation at the Temple of Khnum we will work on connecting to the energy of this fertile land and strengthening our natural ability to give and receive.

Day 6
Enjoy a free day in Aswan. Visit the excellent Nubian Museum, explore the Aswan market and bazaar, stroll through the exquisite botanical garden or just relax and integrate on the boat.
Day 7

We sail before sunrise to the island of Isis’ temple Philae for an exclusive visit. Philae is one of the most beautiful sites in Egypt. It is surrounded by water and filled with enchantment and the energy of love, which so palpable it feels as if one is floating in liquid love. Isis is the Goddess of divine love, magic, healing and forgiveness. At the Holy of Hollies entrain to pure love consciousness with a heart opening initiation. Free time in Aswan before we sail to Kom Ombo.

Day 8
Preparation circle on deck before visit to Kom Ombo. This temple is dedicated to two Gods, Sobek and Horus. Sobek the crocodile God sprung into creation from the primordial waters of darkness. Horus the Hawk represents the higher perspective and the golden light. The duality of light/ dark, yin/yang, conscious/unconscious is apparent in this ancient site. One of the most powerful places in Kom Ombo is the Seat of Neutrality, which is placed on the exact centerline between the parts of the temple that are dedicated to Horus or Sobek and Light or Dark. Just sitting on this stone seat you enter into a state of neutrality and complete stillness. Any thoughts you may have had before, simply vanish. During the meditation we will further activate the gift of neutrality to transcend the energies of polarity and gain greater acceptance and peace.

In the afternoon we will continue our sail down the Nile to Edfu - settle back, relax and enjoy the unique beauty of the scenery.

Day 9
Early in the morning we leave our boat for a private visit of the temple of Edfu. Edfu is one of the most intact temples in Egypt and is dedicated to the hawk- headed God Horus. While you are approaching the beautifully illuminated temple complex, you become aware of its enormous dimensions. with a vast courtyard, a forest of towering columns and high ceilings. The entrance way is framed by two huge falcons with a statue of the pharaoh leaned against them.  Horus is associated with higher vision and clarity. The eye of Horus greatly relates to his myth and power. The left eye represents the lunar, the moon, the intuitive, the feminine energy. The right eye is connected to the solar, the masculine, the action, and the yang energy. Both are necessary for true power to exist. In a private empowerment we will work with balancing the lunar and the solar energies inside of us and awaken our intuitive centers to be able to experience a higher perspective.
After another delicious break-fast buffet on board, we continue sailing to Luxor. Afternoon circle on deck.
Day 10
Today we will visit the Necropolois of Thebes, on the West Bank of the Nile and explore the tombs of pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings and mortuary temples at Medinet Habu and Deir El-Bahari (the temple of Queen Hatchepsut). The ancient Egyptians lived on the East Bank, where the sun rises, and buried their dead on the West Bank, where the sun sets. As we visit these ancient sites connect to the consciousness of eternal life and participate in the ancient empowerments, which lighten your heart and realign all of you with divine order. Have the opportunity to let go of parts of you that have already died and no longer serve you with the assitance of Anubis the jackal-headed God of the underworld. Explore the cycles of life, death and rebirth and the ancient funerary myths deeply routed in the Egyptian Mysteries.
We will disembark from the Dahabiya and check into the beautiful
St. George hotel.
Day 11
We begin the day with an early morning visit to the magnificent Karnak Temple. Karnak is the biggest temple complex in Egypt - and a very special place. It is dedicated to the Gods Amun and Mut. As you enter, you walk between a row of rams-headed sphinxes, which originally connected Karnak with Luxor Temple two miles away. Take some time to visit the sacred lake of Karnak, ask for purification and place your intention in your mind's eye into the lake.
Outside the main halls is a small chapel dedicated to Sekhmet, her consort Ptah and their son Nefertum. Sekhmet is the lioness Goddess of compassion and courage. She is associated with feminine fire and healing through destruction. She is a renowned healer and known for her magic and ability to hunt down an imbalance at its origin. In a potent private initiation we will honor the Goddess and receive the gift of courage to be our authentic selves.  Read also Danielle's article on
Sekhmet - Unbridled Authenticity.

Afternoon free to explore Luxor's market, museum, and other fascinating sites.

Night visit to the Temple of Luxor and work with the brilliance of the human body. Here we are able to see that this temple is built like a human body. The outside layers represent the feet and as we move deeper into the temple, we move towards the head, where the holy of holies, the inner sanctuary is located. This is a wonderful place to focus on physical healing. As you walk through the body of this temple, notice how your body feels and re-member radiant health. Luxor Temple is also associated with stellar consciousness, the aspect of us that is a star. Awaken the parts of you that are sleeping, activate divinity codes and turn on your inner light.

Day 12

Morning visit by bus through the timeless countryside to Dendera, where you will visit the exquisite temple dedicated to Hathor.   Experience her gifts of love, laughter and joy. Dis-integrate fear and activate your instinctual bliss centers so you can enjoy your life to the fullest.
We continue north to the temple at Abydos, dedicated to the God Osiris - place to delve deeply into the art of remembering. This temple rests next and above the most ancient Osirion, one of the premier power places on the planet. There you will find the magical "Flower of Life". Abydos also includes a temple built by Seti I, which contains the most beautiful reliefs of any temple in Egypt.  Our path through Egypt is one that aligns deeply with the myth of Isis and Osiris. Osiris was killed by his brother Seth and his body was dis-membered into 14 different parts and scattered throughout Egypt. Isis built a temple at each place she found a part of Osiris body. As we journey through Egypt, we are collecting the fragmented and dis-membered parts of ourselves. In a private initiation we will work with our spinal column and the backbone of Osiris the Djed to activate our inner remembering and to become our largest selves.

Day 13
Morning flight to Cairo and check into the Mena House. Circle to integrate your spiritual journey thus far and prepare for our powerful initiation at the Great Pyramid. Free time for last minute shopping, relaxing at the pool or writing in your journal.
Day 14
Private visit to the Great Pyramid with culminating initiation. The Great Pyramid is a great mystery that continues to baffle the minds of many. "How was it built?" and "What was its purpose?" are a few of the most contemplated questions about the Great Pyramid. Some say, that it is an initiation chamber, others an observatory, others a stairway to heaven. Spend two hours inside of the Great Pyramid with only our group and experience for yourself the magic and mysteries of the Great Pyramid. Participate in a powerful initiation in the King's Chamber and explore sacred sound in the Queen's chamber. Your time in the Great Pyramid will activate and seal the expansion you have experienced through your time in Egypt. Afterward, enjoy a grounding camel ride in the desert. Closing circle and farewell dinner. Celebrate and appreciate your modern day pilgrimage, your fellow travelers, the hospitality of the Egyptians and the impeccable care we received from our family at Quest Travel.
Day 15
Farewell to Egypt. Our morning flight departs from Cairo for New York and arrives at JFK at 3:15PM.
